Alive and Stitching is a group of six professional textile artists who exhibit together with the twofold aim of selling work to the public and raising the profile of textile art. Their inspiration and ways of working are myriad and come through their individual love of landscape and nature, the human form and faces and in fact anything that attracts their interest and demands further exploration using many types of media. The exhibition will be open to the public Monday to Friday 10am till 4pm. The exhibition will be open as part of the Wakefield Artwalk on Wednesday 25 July, 5 till 9pm. In addition there will be a special open day and selling event on Saturday 28th July 10am till 4pm.
