Wakefield.West Yorskhire.WF4.4RH Our aim is to promote the old craft of hand rug making of all types. Members come from differing backgrounds and ages and all have various levels of experience. Many of our members bring with them skills from other crafts, such as quilting, embroidery, weaving, spinning, painting etc. Rug making techniques are no longer confined to just making rugs. Wall hangings, cushion covers, pictures, handbags etc can all be made with these age old skills.
