Tim Rose and a local scene

We had a really good turn out for Tim who always gives good value for money demonstrations. He painted a really large picture of the river waterfront near the Hepworth Museum in Wakefield. He brought lots of his paintings for us to browse through together with various cards to purchase.

After the break we began to see Tim bring together the details in the foreground using much stronger washes. Using colours noted for their translucence he avoided muddiness.

Amazing to think in less than two hours this result was achieved. Fresh, glowing and with amazing perspective - a true masterclass.
