START POINTS:
Stork Cafe Car Park (in Thornes Park): Take the A636 (Denby Dale Road) out of Wakefield, past JTC600, go straight across the next roundabout, then turn right(before the railway bridge) signposted Horbury, follow the road for a couple of hundred metres, you will see the Stork gates of the park on the right, turn right here.
Holmfield House Car Park (in Thornes Park, near the band stand): Take the A636 (Denby Dale Road) out of Wakefield, past JTC600 at the next roundabout turn right into the car park serving Thornes Park.
Carr Gate: Go out of Wakefield on A650 (Bradford) Follow signs for Carr Gate Garden Centre. Meet on the road outside the Centre.
