Wakefield Pagan Moot was set up in 1988 by Steve Jones to provide a place for pagans and people interested in paganism,folklore,paranormal,forteana,sp irituality etc to meet. It is the oldest Moot in the UK with the original organiser.
It meets on the 1st Monday of the month (excluding 1st Jan if Monday) in the upstairs room of Henry Boons, Westgate ,Wakefield from approx 7:45pm. Entry is free.
The Moot is a social gathering where people swap ideas and information. Details of local events/sites are given and it has occasional free talks and trips to sites. It also does occasional Weird Wakefield walks.
