I am pleased to say that our community
film roadshow is now up and running.
How it works is that we attend local
community groups at the meeting place
amd put on a one hour show of mixed
films. No fixed charge is made but a
donation is welcome to cover our
expenses, Call our
secretarie, Gerald Hancocks, for more
information.
Our members recently recorded the very
important event held at the County Hall
in Wakefield when Neil Fox the former
Wakefield Trinity international player
was granted the honour of The Freedom
of the City. I myself coming from
Gloucester and an ardent fan of Rugby
Union was overwhelmed with Neils
impressive record of acheivements, and
was particularly impressed with Neils
speech of acceptance. A very proud
Wakefield gentleman.
In progress of editing for DVD copies
at the moment, is the re-siting of the
statue of Queen Victoria, from start to
finish.
