Wakefield District Biodiversity Group (WDBG), an independent group, was formed in 1994 and comprises representatives of conservation groups throughout the Wakefield area:-

Supported by Wakefield MDC who provide the meeting venue and secretarial assistance, with presentations from their specialists,in areas such as Countryside Rangers and Land drainage etc, available on request.
