The Wakefield Caledonian Society was instituted in 1953: - To promote good fellowship among Scottish people resident in Wakefield. To afford whatever assistance can be given to deserving Scottish people. To promote and assist, financially and otherwise, objects relating to, or bearing on, Scottish traditions, life and character.
The Society organise regular and various functions throughout the year, normally one event per month from October through to April.
People who are not Scottish are invited to join through Associate Membership
