Baseboard Construction

There are 4 baseboards each 5 long by approximately 2 wide and constructed from 6mm ply, 3 x1 and 2x1 timber using the L girder method. This rigid construction allows the front of the baseboard to follow the curve of the track and, if a support is fowling a point, then it can be easily moved out of the way. Each baseboard has its own built in light pelmet.
