The Wakefield and District Childminding Association (WDCMA) was formed on the 21st April 1994 by volunteer childminders.
WDCMA is a membership organisation, that is, the members elect their representatives (who are usually childminders) to the committee. The committee then authorises the work and activities of the association. Members have a vote at the AGM, and can make proposals for the direction of the association’s work.
