The Wakefield Music Collective is a non- profit making organisation run by music loving volunteers.Formed in 1991 the aim was to promote local live music as well as providing help,advice and information for both established and new bands looking for a break,wether on a local level or nationally.
Over the last 20 years the music collective have organised the annual clarence park free music festival,numerous battle of the band competitions,fund raising events and worked with young bands via the music track programme.
