The South West Yorkshire Mental Health NHS Trust was established in April 2002, and provides mental health and learning disability services in Calderdale, Kirklees and Wakefield.
Our Trust is one of the largest specialist mental health and learning disability trusts in the country, serving a population of almost one million people. We work from over 100 hospital and community sites, and with people in their own homes, providing services for working age adults and older people, and our main inpatient sites are in Dewsbury, Huddersfield, Halifax and Wakefield.
We employ nearly 2000 clinical staff, plus an additional 400 staff providing non-clinical support services.
