RASA Advocacy Project

RASA is a Wakefield based advocacy project specifically aimed at refugees and asylum seekers. We can help you to understand the legal implications, settle into a community, and appreciate the social benefits of resettlement in the Wakefield District.

We at RASA rely on the help that volunteers provide us. We welcome volunteers from within and outside the refugee and asylum seeker community.
RASA needs volunteers to assist with a wide range of jobs:
Help manage our resource centre
Becoming an advocate – full training provided
Managing our resource centre
Meeting visitors, answering telephones, and taking messages
Joining the Management Committee
Helping with decorating and odd jobs
