RASA is a Wakefield based advocacy project specifically aimed at refugees and asylum seekers. We can help you to understand the legal implications, settle into a community, and appreciate the social benefits of resettlement in the Wakefield District.
We at RASA rely on the help that volunteers provide us. We welcome volunteers from within and outside the refugee and asylum seeker community. RASA needs volunteers to assist with a wide range of jobs: Help manage our resource centre Becoming an advocate – full training provided Managing our resource centre Meeting visitors, answering telephones, and taking messages Joining the Management Committee Helping with decorating and odd jobs
Women Chat 1st Saturday of Every Month: Women Chat is a group which meets on the first Saturday of every month between 3pm and 5pm.
