Neighbourhood First Responders

Local volunteers required that are willing to undergo first aid training and the use of oxygen and a defibrilator to provide medical assiatnce to the community when memebrs fall suddenly ill.

As a Neighbourhood First Responder you will be on call and be willing to attend emergency calls within your area. On arival at the scene you will provide basic life saving care until the arrival of an emergency ambulance.

All training is provided by St John Ambulance in partnership with the Yorkshire Ambulance Service NHS Trust. Due to the nature of the work all first responders must undergo adequate CRB checking.
