We are a group of local people from all sectors who are volunteering our time to provide a day of entertainment in order to raise funds for the Help for Heroes charity and two Local Heroes Charities for James Backhouse and Craig Hopson who both lost their lives in Afghanistan. Our aim is to offer visitors a fantastic opportunity to take part in an inspiring day of fun and reflection
We are aiming to have a live link to Afghanistan and a Salute to all our Heroes. Activities for the day include a Funfair, Punch & Judy Show, Birds of Prey Display, Re-enactment groups, Tigers Cheerleaders, Police Dog Handling, Tanks and military Vehicle Rides, Diggerland Rides, Donkey Rides, Helicopters, Stalls and Side-Shows, Local Radio Show, Live Tribute and local bands and ending in a Firework Display, and more
