Activities available for children

There are a number of activities available for children from 2 years of age to 16 Years of age at the Hemsworth Initiatives. All activities are free of charge.

The creche can be used by any child between two and five years, you do not need to be on a course to have a creche place. The creche helps to increase your child's confidence to enable them to settle into nursery quickly and also to give them social skills, especially if the child is used to being with one person most of the time. The creche has lots to offer children and also includes an outside play area.

Although the creche is free we ask that you pay 20p per session, towards the cost of snacks for your child. (Any other donations welcome) The creche is open Monday to Friday at 10am till 12 noon and 1pm till 3pm. The creche is free of charge, thanks to a three year grant from the Big Lottery Fund.
