Health Walks

Do you want to improve your health in 2007? Or do you simply want an excuse to get some fresh air and meet new people? If so, kick start your New Years resolutions and join one of the community health walks.

The health Walks are led by volunteers and aim to give you an opportunity to get outdoors, meet new people and improve your health.

The walks are very sociable and most of the groups end the walk with refreshments and more chatting!

You do not have to be super fit or own a pair of walking boots. Wear comfortable footwear and clothing appropriate to the weather.

We run free walk leader training courses.

Contact us if you are interested in setting up your own walk or supporting one of the existing walks.

Remember that every little bit counts.

Even small changes in your daily routine can help to improve your health.

Did you know that walking for 30 minutes per day only takes up 3% of your whole day?
