Easter Art

There was lots of different arty things to do on our activity day including two giant mosaics, card making and basket making. Thanks to everyone for coming. Hope you all enjoyed it.

Eggshell Mosaic

We made this huge picture from eggshells which were dyed. As well as being great fun using eggs reminded us of the idea of new birth at Easter time. It is still up in the library so have a look next time you are here!!

Easter Egg Tree

This is an Easter Egg tree which is a tradition at Easter in some Eastern European countries.

There was also an Easter Quiz, which included some questions about the Easter Egg tree and children had to find the answers in the displays around the library. The winner of the quiz was Lauren, who has probably eaten her easter egg prize by now. Well done and thanks to all who took part.
