DIVA or Development Initiatives for Voluntary Arts is the development agency for Voluntary Arts in the Wakefield District.
We help local people find a choir, poetry group, band or art group with other people who share their interests. We help people organise themselves and set up new groups. We help existing groups initiate new projects, find funding and offer support and advice.
To celebrate 10 years DIVA presented Voluntary Arts Awards to just some of the committed individuas involved in local arts. DIVA is run by its members and for over ten years has been working in the district to create a strong network of local arts groups.
