Exhibition Pictures

Crofton Art Group held its first Exhibition over the weekend of October 13th and 14th. Members put a wide variety of pieces on display.

Letterboxes

John enjoys finding old letterboxes in interesting locations.


Venice

Robin's Canal Scene drew many admiring glances.


Embroidery

Jean hoped her stitched pictures would make visitors smile.


Watercolours

Watercolour landscapes were Christine's prefered medium and subject.


Local scenes

A painting of Crofton Church was one of the many pictures to be sold.


Acrylics

Some members enjoyed the boldness of acrylics


Variety

Wherever you looked there was a great variety in subject matter, style and medium.


Portrait

One or two artists included portraits in their collections


Landscapes

Landscapes of many different kinds were probably the most popular subject for painting.


Success

As their first exhibition it was considered a great success.

35 members put a total of 190 pictures on display. Well done to everyone and thanks to Slack Lane Junior School
