Visit to Burton Agnes June 2011
Members of Crofton Art Group, and friends visited Burton Agnes. The hall is an outstanding example of Elizabethan architecture and has stayed with the family for more than four centuries. There are collections of French Impressionist paintings, tapestries, contemporary furniture and modern artwork. There is also the award-winning old Elizabethan walled garden, a woodland sculpture walk, the old manor house and church. The weather was fabulous and we all had a fantastic day. What a beautiful place.
