Tony makes a start by painting the background sky.

The result in an hour. Tony said he would add in more detail later on once the oils were totally dry. This would take a day or so, compared to weeks for traditional oils.

Sybil's topic was a heather covered moorland.

Sybil had prepared the canvas by using pva glue and sand to create texture to the landscape.

The finished painting, completed in an hour. It shows what is possible in a short time. Sybil may add some more detail later on, however we were all impressed with the result.
