During November the group enjoyed acrylic painting workshops with local artist Les Wilson, painting a seascape. This presented an interesting challenge and change of techniques from the usual watercolours.

On November 8th Crofton Art Group was joined by Castleford Trinity Art Group for a visit to the Ferens Gallerey in Hull.

There was a variety of exhibitions to be seen - dutch & Flemish Old Masters; works of art from the 18th century, including A View on the Grand Canal by Antonio Canatello; and a collection of marine paintings.
Two of the galeries held temporary exhibitionsons of which was an audio- visual experience around the writings of Anne Frank. The other - Uncomfortable Truths - featured work highlighting the relationship between art & design and slavery.
