Castleford and Pontefract District Lions Club

TALENT SEARCH Castleford and Pontefract District Lions Club have joined forces with Junction 32 Shopping Outlet to search for the best musical talent in the area to appear in a "Musical Extravaganza" in October.

The event, which is open to musicians and singers of all ages will be held at Junction 32 in Castleford on October 11th and aims to showcase local talent from Jazz to Rock and Roll, Brass Bands to Barbers Shop Singers, Disco and Pop even DJ's.

Due to the tremendous response this event has been extended and will now take place over the weekend of the 11th and 12th October 2008. Watch this space for listings of the artists taking part and the times and days when they will be appearing.
