Background
I have been working within a community
setting with various local groups since
Feb 2007.
I started working on a voluntary basis
with a local mental health group which
was very successful, from there I and
have progressed to work within local
community organisations such as Carers
Gateway, Surestart and many more.
Bead therapy is an inclusive activity
which targets Mental Health, Disability
and Black & Ethnic Minorities. The
business has been running with the aim
to use therapeutic jewellery making as
a form of fun and relaxation, to
encourage regeneration and intergration
within hard reaching groups. Bead
Therapy promotes a safe learning
environment to socialise, meet new
people and learn new skills at the
same time.
