Alzheimers Society is the leading support and research charity for people with dementia, their families and carers. Our service is free and confidential. We offer an information and advice service to all persons affected by dementia including carers, and also collaborate with Health and Social Care Professionals, offering referrals to other organisations where appropriate.
We also run Forget Me Not Cafes in six different locations across the Wakefield and Five Towns District. Peer Support Activities are also provided, these include: Singing For The Brain; Arts & Crafts; Reiki; Gardening; Circle Dancing , and Boccia Bowls.
Alzheimers Society, Wakefield also run a Home Support Service provided by trained and experienced support workers.
