Akuma Traditional And Sport Karate

A picture for Akuma-Traditional-And-Sport-Karate

Akuma is based at Crofton Young People's Centre and is run by Sensei Matt Kemp 3rd Dan. Matt has over 15 years experience training and teaching martial arts to people of all ages and abilities.

Akuma teaches traditional Wado-Ryu Karate alongside Sport Karate, the fastest growing contact sport in the world. Traditional Karate allows its students to learn to a structured syllabus and work towards and earn grades (belts). Sport Karate does not have a grading system and is constantly evolving with new techniques and training methods. Students can compete at all levels in both styles if they wish.

There is a family atomsphere at Akuma, as many of its students have trained together for several years, however, we always welcome new students to the club. THE FIRST LESSON IS FREE WITH NO OBLIGATION There are no joining fees and classes are paid for as you train. For more information please visit our website.
