Dear Friends,
At present I am promoting interest in
the Art & Photography Society. The aim
of the Society is to organise and
promote exhibitions of original art.
We aim to advertise and promote Visual
Art & Photography in the Wakefield
district by introducing catalogues and
a dedicated website.
All members of the Society will share
in the running and organising of
exhibitions to give Wakefield Societies
and Individual Artists what we have
needed for a long time. When the
society is established we will apply
for funding & sponsorship.
The initial meeting will be at the
Mocca Moocho Café, Cross Square,
Wakefield City Centre on Wednesday 7th
May 6pm to 8pm. The cost of membership
is to be agreed by members at this
meeting.
I need all the support I can get from
you all to get this initiative off the
