We meet at The King's Way Church on Wesley Street every Wednesday night in term time at 6pm. We can take boys once they have reached their 5th birthday.

Every week the boys enjoy a fun packed programme including games, sports, crafts, cookery and visits out. The boys are expected to work hard and receive points each week which turn in to a variety of badges which are presented at our Annual Display. We have a team of dedicated staff members who are fully trained to ensure the safety and wellbeing of your child whilst they are in our care. The Boys' Brigade is the oldest uniformed organisation and has been in Ossett for over 25 years. We are a Church based Christian organisation and we encourage all boys to attend church once a month for our church parade. This year we have taken the boys on local trips to the park and the Fire Station and trips farther afield including to London, Edinburg and our annual camp which all our boys aged 8 and above are welcome to join for a week in the Summer Holidays.

There are 3 seperate sections currently running in Ossett. Anchor Boys (who finish at 7.15pm) are our youngest members and can join at 5. There is the Junior section (who finish at 7.45pm) for 8 years old and upwards, followed by the Company section (who finish at 8pm) once the boys turn 11. Please get in touch or pop along on a Wednesday evening and see us. We currently have a waiting list for our youngest members so get in touch if you are interested and we can add your son to the waiting list.
